Classroom Monitor Training (Act 91)

For the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years, the law allows people with 60 college credits or paraprofessionals with at least three years of experience to fill in for teachers as “classroom monitors.” Classroom monitors are allowed to oversee classrooms but not instruct students, grade assignments, or create work.

Classroom Monitors must take a classroom management training to apply for emergency certification in TIMS.  IU28 has a completed classroom management training for this purpose.  Please access this 2 hour, completely asynchronous training, below.  Once complete, users will take a quiz that will produce a certificate of completion once the exam is passed with 100% accuracy.
