Adult Basic Education (ABE)/GED®/HiSET® Test Prep

ARIN Center for Education's Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED®, and HiSET® Classes are for adults who want to improve their basic academic skills, while developing the tools necessary to pass the GED® or HiSET® test.

There are no fees for ABE/GED®/HiSET® Classes. Program funding is provided through the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).

A prospective student over the age of 18 must:

Be a Pennsylvania resident
Be a resident of Armstrong or Indiana County
Not be enrolled in an approved or licensed secondary school

A prospective student under the age of 18 must:

Be 16 or 17 years old
Be a Pennsylvania resident
Be a resident of Armstrong or Indiana County
Provide ARIN Center for Education with an official letter of withdrawal from their school district, on school district letterhead, signed by an official of the school. The letter must be provided to the program at the beginning of Orientation.

This course is currently offered in Armstrong and Indiana Counties.

ABE/GED®/HiSET® Test Prep is also offered at the Indiana County Jail.
