Volunteer Opportunities
VOLUNTEER TUTORS NEEDED!
Interested in becoming a volunteer? ARIN Center for Education is always looking for qualified individuals to tutor and support the local adult education programs in both Armstrong and Indiana Counties. Adult learners come from diverse backgrounds and can benefit from a variety of learning methods and strategies. Support may be needed for high school equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language acquisition, and development of basic employment skills.

- Small group tutoring
- One-on-one tutoring
- Classroom tutor
- Program support
Tutor Requirements
- Tutoring commitment of at least three hours weekly
- Minimum High School Diploma/High School Equivalency Diploma
- Completion of tutor training
