Inter-Library Delivery Service (IDS)

ARIN participates in the Inter-Library Delivery Service (IDS), which allows schools and libraries in our region to share and transport their resources.  All participants in the IDS program are members of the AccessPA system. This gives students and library patrons access to over 44.3 million items, including books, periodicals, eBooks, DVDs, and journals.

  • As of April 2013, there are 2,648 participating libraries.
  • 96.8% of school districts in PA participate.
  • It is the largest statewide union catalog in North America
