Gifted Education Liason Network

As part of a statewide support network, Intermediate Unit Gifted Liaisons serve as a communication link between school districts and PDE to share information and provide professional development in support of gifted education.

Gifted Teachers' Network

The Gifted Networking Group consists of district representatives within the ARIN footprint. Participants will share ideas and resources that can be implemented in their districts. Information from the regional and state level will also be shared at these meetings.  Topics will include the Gifted Monitoring Process, Best Practices for Gifted Educators, Gifted Bootcamp, and Student Events/Competitions. We will review the Chapter 16 Compliance Monitoring for Continuous Improvement Systems Gifted Education Program. The 7 areas of the Gifted Facilitated Self-Assessment will be included as well as the Evidentiary Documentation. Best Practices for Gifted Educators will be shared from the state Gifted Network and among the participants.

There is a cost for networking sessions in the upcoming year. There is ONE TIME participant fee of $75 whether you attend one or all 4 of these networking sessions. You can register for each session by clicking on the date above.

Gifted Bootcamp

The state requires a gifted bootcamp training to be done each year through the IU. This training is designed for gifted teachers, administrators, or anyone else in the district that could benefit from additional training around gifted education. Feel free to share the linked smore with anyone you think should consider attending. This training will be held at the ARIN IU on September 8, 2025. It is early in the year, but hopefully it will be beneficial to not only those attending, but also your students.
