STEM / STEELS

The STEM Point of Contact for ARIN IU 28 meets regularly with other IU STEM Points of Contact across the state to gather and share resources for educators.  The goal of the STEM PoC is to design and deliver integrated STEM resources that align with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's vision for STEM learning for all learners.  For more information, please contact Stacie Isenberg at [email protected].

CS4ALL SCRIPT Workshops - CS alignment for districts

Artificial Intelligence
ARIN IU 28 is helping educators lead the way in understanding and integrating AI. Through hands-on AI for Educators workshops delivered at districts and the IU, we’ve supported teachers and administrators in exploring both the use of AI and how to teach about it. We continue to build our own capacity and embed AI discussions across all of our professional networks—offering ongoing, in-district and IU-based support to help schools stay ahead of the curve.

Drone Education Initiatives
ARIN IU 28 is convening a network of educators who teach FAA Part 107 courses to support high school students pursuing drone certification. We’re also building a cohort of teachers committed to expanding access to drone education for students of all ability levels through our Build, Fly, Code, Compete program—bringing hands-on, inclusive STEM learning to classrooms across the region.
